Paraskevi Journal of Employment and Human Resource Management (PJEHRM)

The Paraskevi Journal of Employment and Human Resource Management (PJEHRM) is an Open-Access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal that welcomes high-quality and novel research from developed and developing countries. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to contribute scholarly knowledge and evidence-based insights in employment and human resource management.

Publication and Peer Review

PJEHRM publishes four issues annually:

  • January–March
  • April–June
  • July–September
  • October–December

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The review timeline depends on reviewer availability and the issue for which a manuscript is submitted.

Research Ethics and Integrity

The journal requires manuscripts involving human participants to conform to the principles of the Helsinki Declaration, including informed consent, voluntary participation, honesty, integrity, transparency, and respect for human and animal subjects. Where applicable, ethical approval from an appropriate institutional review board or ethics committee should accompany the submission.

Authors remain responsible for all views, arguments, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in their manuscripts.

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. PJEHRM uses Turnitin for similarity checking. Manuscripts with a similarity score above 20%, excluding references, will not be considered for review.

Submission and Originality

Authors must declare that their manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

The journal reserves the right to retract manuscripts that violate ethical publication principles, including double submission or publication elsewhere. Authors may withdraw manuscripts during the peer-review stage; however, articles that have already been published online cannot be withdrawn.

Open Access

PJEHRM operates under an Open Access model. Published articles are made freely available for download immediately upon online publication.

Article Processing Charge

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is:

  • International Authors: US$50
  • Nigerian Authors: ₦40,000

Copyright

Authors retain unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights to their work.

Generative AI Policy

Authors are required to declare the use of generative artificial intelligence tools in preparing or improving their manuscripts. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and correctness of all information contained in their manuscripts.

Manuscript Requirements

Manuscripts should generally conform to the following requirements:

  • Paper size: A4 (8.27 × 11.69 inches)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Language: English
  • Referencing: APA 7th Edition
  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words, references inclusive
  • Page numbering: Bottom-right

The manuscript should normally contain:

  1. Concise Title
  2. Abstract (200–250 words)
  3. Keywords (5–7)
  4. Introduction
  5. Literature Review
  6. Methods and Procedure
  7. Results
  8. Discussion
  9. Conclusion and Implications
  10. References

Authors should submit a blind manuscript without identifying information and a title page containing author names, affiliations, email addresses, conflict-of-interest declaration, funding information, and author contributions.
