Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts do not infringe the copyright or intellectual-property rights of third parties.
Option A — Author Retention
Authors retain copyright of their published work and grant PJEMS a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the work publicly available.
Option B — Publisher Copyright
Copyright of published articles is transferred to the publisher in accordance with the journal's publishing agreement.
If PJEMS uses Creative Commons licensing, the exact licence should be stated here.
For example:
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.
Only use this statement if you have actually adopted CC BY 4.0.
Authors must obtain appropriate permission before reproducing copyrighted material belonging to third parties where permission is legally required.
